Well, there were 5 million people who got bonuses and over 80% who got an increase in their February check. I’m a capitalist so I do love the corporate tax rate slash–puts us more in line with the rest of the world (or lower).
Now, I wish I was more like you and could come up with a funny line about all this. Hmmm… I wish the new tax code was a weather vane but it could more aptly be described by many as a lightning rod? Really, I got nothin’
I recall that with every prior corporate tax break they never had more money in the budget for raises. Not sure where that money went but I bet it will be fodder for future comic strips.

Good point about the raises. They may be forced to, what with unemployment at all-time lows, approaching full. Time will tell.
